Introducing Bob

Bob is a fantastic cat, he is very knowing and in tune with me. He hasn't had an easy life though, he has been very very poorly. He is only two years and three months old, but he has already spent more time at the vets than an elderly cat. He has urinary tract disease, so has a prescription diet and takes daily medication to try and keep it under control, but he still has flair ups every now and again.

I was once told to have him put to sleep, as after a flair up of his UTI problems, he was fitted with a catheter, but he didn't do well with this and started haemorrhaging blood. But we gave him the weekend with intense treatment and he pulled through.

He has behaviour problems, we think brought on by the stress of all the invasive treatments he has had to endure. So he is currently on a behaviour plan set by the leading behaviour team in the UK, although Bob normally has other ideas!

Bob is definitely full of character and has a very strong mind, which makes him the special cat that he is.

If you follow this blog, you will see the extreme lengths Bob will go to to get his own way, but at the end of the day, I will forgive him anything, even if he does pee on me in the night!
